Do not miss the major event of the process industry for chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology in 2012 – the 30th Achema in Frankfurt am Main. ProLeiT will also be present at this leading international meeting point for the chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. We are looking forward to meeting you at our own trade fair. In hall 11.1 / stand F87, ProLeiT will showcase its specific solutions for the chemicals and pharmaceutical industries – all of which are already successfully in use at our customers and have proven their high performance: Plant iT. MES included.
The following exhibits will be on display at our trade fair stand:
Werner & Mertz GmbH:
Frosch cleaning agent and Erdal shoe polish have become the symbols of this company with its headquarters in Mainz, which consistently focuses on sustainability. ProLeiT supported Werner & Mertz in the step by step migration of its existing control technology system to Plant iT and the creation of a virtualised area server concept. The Plant iT V8.20 process control system was used for this purpose. Furthermore, the integration of SAP (SAP PP-PI incl. SAP interfacing to the process/phase level) as well as the connection of the QM-module were integral parts of this project which smoothly combines the batch and conti processes in one system.
BASF Personal Care and Nutrition GmbH:
One of the leading manufacturers of food additives, BASF Personal Care and Nutrition GmbH (formerly: Cognis), upgraded its spray drying plant from an obsolete Version VD-NT V4.10 to the latest Plant Batch iT V8.20 system generation in the middle of last year. The three SIMATIC S5 control units in use until then were replaced by a single SIMATIC S7 controller. The trade fair exhibit provides impressive proof of how this migration has been implemented. The open recipe structure of Plant Batch iT ensured minimum idle times during start-up, has provided the basis for absolute transparency in the batch processes and has thus significantly improved the process sequences. Another special feature of the exhibit is the recently implemented award winning Plant iT autotuning controller which enables very short setting times for the individual controllers and thus reduces start-up times to a minimum.
Bionorica SE:
This manufacturer of phytopharmaceutical products, with its headquarters in Neumarkt, awarded ProLeiT a contract for the replacement of the outdated control system of its vacuum drying plant by a modern ProLeiT control system with a new SIMATIC S7 controller. The drying of botanical extracts is now managed by Plant Batch iT V8.10. Plant iT provided the basis for major process optimisation – the drying times of extracts could be significantly reduced whilst also improving the quality. In addition, the exhibit will demonstrate its compliance with the requirements for pharmaceutical products as well as the acquisition and logging of relevant production data which thus also enables product traceability within production.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Frankfurt a.M. from June 18 to 22, 2012. - hall 11.1 / stand F87.
